Venus Williams, designer at heart

In the early 2000s, when she was still playing tennis at the highest level, Venus Williams, with a diploma in interior design in her pocket, launched her own design brand and then her own line of clothing. An accomplished designer.

Venus Williams, a multi-business entrepreneur, draws many parallels between her experience as a player and the management of her various businesses. She was supported and inspired by her father, who ran his own security company, and her mother, who encouraged her creativity as a child.

The former world number one launched V Starr Interiors in 2002, alongside her tennis career, and in 2007 launched EleVen, a fashion sportswear brand. In addition to a degree in interior design, she also has a degree in fashion design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

V Starr Interiors is based in South Florida and specializes in commercial design, with a focus on hospitality and multi-family housing and experience in the high-end residential market.

EleVen provides women with quality activewear that makes them feel good and perform better.

Trying to successfully combine her two passions.

The seven-time Grand Slam singles champion continues to successfully manage both brands, in which she is involved from design to distribution.

In an interview with a famous architecture magazine, Venus talked about her big dream design project, combining her two passions (sport and decoration and architecture) and creating a big stadium. His style stands out thanks to its timelessness, far from passing fashion phenomena. A sure and recognizable taste.

It was even Venus’ interior design company that designed Serena Williams’ house in Miami!
