Charles Woodson and Intercept Wines

Former NFL player, Charles Woodson played 18 seasons with the Oakland Raiders and the Green Bay Packers with whom he won his Super Bowl ring. The only primarily defensive player to win the Heisman Trophy, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021. He was with the Oakland Raiders at the time, and it was during one of their training camps in the Napa Valley that he fell in love with the area. He launched Intercept Wines regionally in 2019 and nationally in 2020.

Danica Patrick and Somnium

Danica Patrick, the most famous female driver of all time and the first woman to win an IndyCar Series event with her victory in the Indy Japan 300 in 2008. 

She became a vineyard owner on Howell Mountain in 2009. Somnium debuted with Cabernet Sauvignon in 2011, complemented by “Danica Rosé,” her Provencal-style rosé.

Chris Paul and La Fête Wine Company 

Chris Paul, aka CP3, current point guard for the Phoenix Suns, is one of the most popular players in the NBA. In early 2022, he joined “La Fête Wine Company” as a financial partner. Since its inception in 2019, La Fête has donated a portion of its profits to programs that provide underprivileged youth with unique travel experiences, as well as to organizations that create opportunities for minorities in the wine and spirits industry!
